These terms govern your use of the StockChat app and website (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

Not investment advice. StockChat provides educational and informational content only. Nothing in the Service — including chat replies, support and resistance levels, demand/supply zones, historical price statistics, fundamentals, learning cards, charts, notifications or the daily pre-market update — is a recommendation to buy, sell or hold any security. StockChat is not registered as an investment adviser, research analyst or broker with SEBI, the US Securities and Exchange Commission, any US state regulator or any other regulator. Strategies and examples in the Learn section are general education with made-up numbers; they are not tailored to you and may not suit your situation. Markets involve risk; past performance does not guarantee future results. Do your own research or consult a registered adviser before investing.

1. Eligibility and your account

You must be at least 18 years old to use StockChat.
Give accurate details when you sign up and keep them up to date. Use your own mobile number and email.
You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for all activity on your account. Tell us at support@stockchat.app if you think your account has been misused.

2. Plans and limits

The free plan includes a daily number of stock chats (currently 20 per day, reset at midnight IST). We may introduce paid plans with higher limits; prices and terms will be shown before you pay. We may change limits to keep the Service fair and reliable.

3. Information accuracy

Market data comes from third-party sources and may be delayed, incomplete or wrong. Chat replies are generated with the help of AI models and can contain mistakes. Calculations such as indicators and backtests are based on historical data. The Service is provided "as is" without guarantees of accuracy, completeness or availability.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

misuse the Service, break the law, or try to access other users' accounts or data;
scrape, copy or resell the Service's data or content in bulk, or use bots to send automated requests;
interfere with, overload or reverse-engineer the Service or its security;
use the Service to spread spam, harmful content or misleading investment tips presented as coming from StockChat.

5. Our content and your content

The StockChat name, logo, app and website are owned by Stock Chat. You keep ownership of the messages you send; you allow us to store and process them to run the Service, as described in the Privacy Policy. Third-party trademarks and company logos belong to their owners and are shown only to identify the companies.

6. Suspension and termination

You can stop using StockChat at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or put the Service or other users at risk.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Stock Chat is not liable for any trading or investment losses, or for indirect or consequential damages, arising from your use of the Service. Any decisions you make based on information in the Service are your own responsibility.

8. Changes to the Service and these terms

We may change or discontinue features, and update these terms. We will change the effective date above and, for significant changes, tell you in the app. Continuing to use the Service after changes means you accept them.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of India.
